Wellesley real estate is among the most prestigious in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Back in the 1600s, early settlers named the area Contentment because they were so pleased with it. Today, it is a popular Boston suburb positioned about 13 miles west of the city.

The town is also home to Wellesley College, Babson College and Massachusetts Bay Community College.
